I love Maths!

Okay, so I was surfing on fb, well randomly looking at some pictures and I found one kinda interesting... thing. It's a maths question actually. It's simple but there are still some people would do the same mistake.


6÷2(2+1) = ?
(15 seconds for you to solve it)

Alright, what's your answer? Some say 1 some say 9.


As for some people, they do it this way.


Solution 1


6÷2(2+1) 
=  6÷2(3)
= 6÷6
= 1 




And some people, do it this way.


Solution 2


6÷2(2+1)
= 3(3)
= 9

Okay, for those who have the answer of 1, I'm sorry to tell you that You Are Wrong. The answer is 9.

People who go for Solution 1, I know what you gonna say. Bracket has to be solved first then only you can solve the question! Yes, you're right. We have to solve what's inside the bracket first then only we can solve the question.

You got what I said?

Okay. IF the calculation is given in this way.

6÷[2(2+1)] 


THEN the answer will be 1. 


6÷[2(2+1)]
= 6÷[2(3)]
= 1

Done.

I saw a kinda ridiculous comment below the picture. I didnt mean to tease about it or something but it's really... Sigh, all I can say is that person really just didnt pay attention while the teacher's teaching.

We all know combined operation, calculations involving two or more operations. That division and multiplication operations must be carried out first before addition and subtraction operations. And we all know how it works, right?

In mandarin, we say it this way - 先乘除后加减.

Means multiplication & division first, then addition & subtraction. (Translated word by word.)

That person do know about it, but only half of it. She thought the calculations have to carry out by following the sequence of how we say it, multiplication first, division, addition then only subtraction. (That's why she got the answer of 1. 6÷2(2+1)=6÷(4+2)=6÷6=1 )

Oh my oh. NOHHH!

My dear, it's just a saying to make us students easier to remember, like a spell. Not really matter the sequence of saying it! Multiplication & division are equal, so you have to solve the calculation from the left, first come first serve term. Division comes first then solve division first. Multiplication then multiplication first.

-_____- It's in the first chapter of Form 1's Maths! Gosh. Explain it like it's the hardest formula in the world.

*When I say I love Maths I really meant it. I love solving em! I wont say I'm the best doing it as I'm really not. But at least I got As in the exams, every time. As well as Add Maths. I'm really good in it! =D Still not the best though. Never be the smartest student, but an adorable one. LOLOL!!!

Some weird people, they are just weird. There are always some people, strangers I mean, came across my fb profile, read my info, then tell me how they think about me. Well they are basically about something good. Like err well I couldnt think an example. 

I think do have some unfriendly comments. Not unfriendly lah, errr different opinions. I couldnt list an example as well. =/ I can barely remember things that are irrelevant. But, I do have one example now that I had received moment ago. It's about things I wrote in my info. You could go my fb to have a look if you erm.. interested.

Erm.... so? What's wrong of me being over confident? Is there anything to do with you? I dont even know you. And I wasnt even being over confident!

HOI?! What's wrong if I say I hate people asking me the same thing over and over again?! What's wrong if I say dont act closed with me if we dont know each other?? What's wrong if I say I hate strangers asking my phone number?? What's wrong if I say I hate people being rude?! WHAT'S WRONG TELL ME. 

I replied him, there's a different between being over confident and being honest about things I dont like. 

TRUE RIGHT? I didnt write say something like "I'm a noble princess and I know I'm pretty. Dont add me if you're ugly." THAT IS BEING OVER CONFIDENT and bring hatred.

He then replied me, 

I used to be like you quite aggressive and think myself, above others. but one day you 

will realise and understand. one day

Aggressive?! Think myself above others?!? *snort snort* Anyway, congratz 'cause you so successful as you already realized and understood (whatever thing).

I really wonder how can a stranger could give a comment like this like he really knows me in real life. "I used to be like you" wtf you know me very well meh now? It's still fine if he says "I think you're little aggressive yada yada". 

But no, he used "I used to be like you". Straight away judged me that way. HELLOOOOO? STRANGER? If you're a friend of mine and saying that to me, then maybe I'll take it seriously and think am I really like what you said? Since you're just a total stranger, it makes everything you said pointless. 'Cause you dont know me at all. 

It's not like I'm accusing someone, listing someone's name saying he/she did these to me and I hate it. NO, I just simply writing things I dont like/hate so people would take note and not to do that to me. (it didnt really work anyway somehow) How would it be aggressive I dont understand. Sigh.

Anyway, I dont find any problem in my info. If you find a problem with it, YOU are the one having a problem. Maybe you're just one of those people. =P

Nonono, dont get me wrong. I dont hate the person who sent met hat message at all. Well a bit beh syiok lah but not until hate him. I always get the fact that everyone has their own opinion. So do I. 

After that message, I snorted, said to him, you dont know me, I dont mind if you judge me that way.

I asked some of my closed guy friends before whether how they think about me, they said I'm sometimes over confident. Then I was like... hm okay, what makes you think so? They said, from the way I post when I take picture. I'll purposely bend down my body like I wanna let everyone know my boobs are big.

I was like wtf?! Aite I admit I do have that habit of bending my body lower when I take picture THAT IS BECAUSE IT WOULD EVEN LOOK HUMONGOUS IF I STAND STRAIGHT! Omg.

Okay that's not true... -.- In fact, I had loads of time. Even when I was working at Northam, I still have plenty oft time there. Toldya I got nothing more to do than just sitting and waiting there. Sad. I read loads of books during the spare times though. And I knitted a scarf. LOL! Yeahhhh I even have more than enough time to knit scarf. Wish I could watch movie if I'm allowed to do so. I might had finished all the dramas in the world. And hey! Now I have even more spare time. 'Cause as I said previously, I had resigned from Northam and woohoo~ I stopped working already since last two days!

So, I'll be starting my new job next month at Gurney Tower. Friends, come visit me! My soon-to-be boss said it's okay if my friends wanna come visit me. Awesome. And he even allowed me to download movie, fb, blog whatever I want as long as it wont influence my job. He's cool. He asked me what else I need in the office, I looked around and said, microwave. But he said no. =( He said it has to be something relevant to the office. But in my opinion, microwave IS relevant! Well, I dont need to worry if I have enough time to dine out or not. I can just "Ding!" and eat! Efficient and convenient! Woots!

Anyway, my colleagues... EX-colleagues hold a farewell party for me that day. Not really a party lah, just ermm drink and laugh and camwhore. Hm... I dont have the pictures. =/ And owh! Look!

[Meinbrain]: Uncomfortable Touches

One thing I had realized recently. I actually dont like people touching me when we're talking or something. Especially my shoulder and hair and... erm... everywhere. I feel really uncomfortable about it.

Some people, they used to like pat your shoulder, well pat still fine. Some people, they will put their hand on your shoulder when they talk. Uh-uh. Dont do that to me. Or for whatever reason, touch my hand. They might not do it in purpose or try to take my advantages but I just feel uncomfortable. UNLESS you're my bf, my really closed friends or some cute and adorable guys. I dont mind then. LOL! I'm just kidding. But I'm serious about the bf. I like my bf touching me when we're talking or even not talking. PURE TOUCHING HUH! I'm not talking about something naughty. =/

I like my bf touching my hair, put my hair behind my ear. It's just so... loving! But the feeling is totally different when it comes to a friend. If a friend does it to me, I'll like...... wth? Yer. What are you trying to do? Well, friends can touch my hair but dont help me to put my hair behind my ear. I will hate you. Omg I really dont know how to describe the feeling. When we're not that close, please dont do this kind of intimate contacts. Ew. Even if you're SUPER hot. Unless you're Ryan Reynords.

Dont keep on staring at me and not talking. That's really creepy and scary. And it makes me feel freaking uncomfortable as well.

I dont like someone who is not my bf touching my body parts, touching my hair, holding my hand, unless I made the initiative first. For whatever reason, you're cute or maybe I'm just flirty. LOL!

In short, dont touch me when you talk. Unnecessary touches are gross. Always gross.

Pissed off.

I'm so pissed off! Guess where am I now. I'm at my hometown. Came home all the way from penang at 2:30am. Why? 'Cause my mum asked me to come home. Why?? 'Cause I met a road block in front of Gleneagle Hospital, and they got me a samman BECAUSE my car's road tax is expired. I told the police and said my mum already paid for it but as I'm not from here and I cant get to go home and replace it yet. And apparently he thought I was lying and insisted to write me the samman. Well as long as you're happy then.

Then I drove my car back to my hostel there and went for supper with friends. While we were on our way home, my dad phoned me. Asked where am I, then I told him lah where am I and I just came back from a supper. And he yelled at me,

"You got a samman already still got mood to eat ar?!"

WTF?!? Then what you expect me to do?! CRY LIKE A BABY IS IT?! It's not like I'm going to die or what. Xiao wan. THAT is why I'm so pissed off. It's so unreasonable. Why cant I eat? Why must I lost my appetite because of that stupid samman. I'm not a drama queen, the world not gonna stop spinning if I got a fucking samman. I CAN STILL EAT A DAMN WHOLE COW EVEN IF I GOT SLAPPED BY SOMEONE OR IF I BANGED SOMEONE'S CAR. 

Then I said, "what I can do?! The samman is already with me what I can do?!"

He then yelled again about why I didnt pick up my mum's call. PLEASE. What can I do again if I really didnt notice the phone call?! Caall her back only mah, need to yelled at me meh?!

He's such a drama king! Everytime I encountered something not so good, he'll like overact at it like tends to create some attentions and got me scold by mum. Wtf seriously. AS LONG AS YOU'RE HAPPY. GO AHEAD. 

Anyway, I resigned from Northam already, but I still need to provide a one month notice. So my last day of employment will be 20th August. And guess what, I already got a new job. Once I on board, I'll start my new job at Gurney tower. Woots. But yet, I still dont know what position I'm applying ahah. And I havent tell my parents about it yet. xD
